Mentors are so important, especially for women who are in leadership and ministry. Because women, as we grow in our leadership potential and in higher levels of leadership, there’s fewer women there to tell us how they do it. And so, it’s so important to be able to find somebody to help you know how to walk the path God has given you well.
In my own life, that is why I have tried so much to seek out men and women who can help me know what to do and how to do it.
Find a mentor that can help you know how to do what God has called you to do. Find that woman or even that pastor that has walked before you that can give you some advice, give you some tips, and help you to avoid those pitfalls. Because it will make a difference in how effective you are in ministry and if you’re just recreating the will that’s already been there.
Find a mentor. It’s the best thing you can do in ministry ever.
