There are all sorts of ways you can approach your own journey because nobody is going to make you do it, one way or the other. We could just be clueless and basically miss the whole point. In other words, you’re on a journey, but you never take up the whole idea and concept of journey so that you’re taking a real part in it. You just like get through the thing and then realize, all along you were supposed to be walking the thing out with Jesus.
We could just miss it and be clueless or we could fake like it’s all a big blast. You’ve got friends like that.
We can moan and groan and we can whine all our way through it like it’s one big miserable mess and we can miss all the spectacular sights and all the artifacts, all the treasures, and all the revelations.
Or we can walk mostly full of fear and dread and take every single step with anxiety and angst.
Or we could go kicking and screaming and act like we’re being dragged to heaven only because it’s better than hell. Anybody? Anybody?
Or we can take a big, courageous breath and decide to take this thing on like a quest. And we can go from being victims somehow and even bystanders to hikers and adventurers.
