New Parents: Have Grace For One Another

by Lauren Chandler | March 28, 2019

Are you a new parent? It can be tough, especially on your marriage. In this video, mother, wife, and author, Lauren Chandler , offers some advice to first-time parents.

The video is above and the entire transcript is below.

Marriage advice that I would have for new parents is: Have a lot of grace for one another.

You’re both sleep-deprived. There is hope. You will be better people when you get more sleep.

But seriously, have grace for one another. It is a hard time. You’re trying to figure it out. You don’t know what it’s like to be a parent. This is your first try. It’s your kid’s first try to be the kid of you as parents.

So just grace all around. And a lot of praying. A lot of those “God help me” prayers. So that’s what my advice would be to new parents.
